The options are systematically arranged and easily accessible. If you want to look up any past mail you can get to it by using a short cut. You don’t need to ransack your inbox for that. Gmail also has Google calendar, another very useful google application. It also has google documents and plenty of other features. Gmail also allows you to search the web from your mailbox itself. It has plenty of applications and options. Gmail has an automatic spam filtering technique which checks all your mails and puts the spam mail into a separate folder. This saves your PC from potential virus attacks. You can also mark any mail as spam and Gmail will take care to see that all similar mails in future do not enter your inbox. Gmail also checks all your received mail attachments for potential virus threats. Gmail is an integral part of Google Apps suite launched by Google to organize all the knowledge on the web and make it accessible to all. It is used by many small business firms, organizations and educational institutions to promote cooperation and collaboration between people. Gmail can be used for entertainment, work or social networking. Integration with social networking sites like orkut gives google mail an upper hand over other web mails.
